very quick observation just looking back at the schedule, but it should be everyone except:
triplette, corrente, green, leavy, anderson, hochuli, coleman, and whoever works Jets-Rams and Patriots-Colts games
Oh ok thanks. Just as long as it’s not triplette, green, leavy, or carey; i am happy.
John Parry is eligible for MIN @ CHI.

BAL-SD can’t be Mike Carey he did Ravens Cowboys earlier this year
That was back in Week 6, Vince. Carl Cheffers just worked a 2nd Charger game of the season yesterday and his 1st one was in Week 5. So. Carey can work BAL-SD.
Who doing Washington vs dallas Ron winter gene?
We probably won’t know until Tuesday.
Winter had a Cowboys game a few weeks ago its unlikely
Carey just did Baltimore in Week Six. Wouldn’t that rule him out for SD? Never sure how that worked…
In Week 12, you can only rule out the assignments between Weeks 8-11.
Six weeks, no? So 6 through 11 ….. I ….. think?
Five weeks, if you subtract like that. It’s possible to have two games at the start and end of a six week span.
Preth,
How does the 6 week rule work when Bill Vinovich works with different crews like he does ??? Is John Parry still able to work the Ravens – Chargers game this week even though his crew worked with Vinovich in the week #10 SD. game ???
If so my guess for that game are Blakeman, Green, Hochuli, Leavy & McAulay
There are 17 crews, and Vinovich doesn’t have his own crew. So when the Parry crew worked the Chargers game in Week 10, it ruled out the crew for Chargers-Ravens here.
Terry McAulay and Ron Winter are eligible for NE@NYJ.
Jerome Boger is eligible for CAR@PHI.
Carey does NOT have BAL/SD
Ed Hochuli is in Indianapolis on the 25th of November and in Green Bay on Dec 2nd.
I loved his remark in overtime at Sundays game. He is the BEST!
“We didn’t review it!”… classic!
Thank you very much Nita!!
After this past weekend Ed lost a tad bit of hi Mojo the Overtime was Bogus that game should have NEVER went into overtime How can u go under the hood and then come out were not reviewing yet Browns Got charged a timeout that was a really poor job in my mind and yes i can take opinions like anyone so If u disagree thats OK im happy to discuss it friendly
@Bronson…. Ed Hochuli was more than likely buzzed from the replay booth. That is why he had to go under the hood to see what ????’s they had.
Why was my post deleted? I did not curse or use foul language. Not cool at all.
Canio –
One, Becky’s not a mod. Please stay respectful. Two, it’s been several days since I’ve deleted a post.
Ed, carey, Triplette are my favorite WHs, neverhteless, Ed has been dropping the ball lately.
No problem!
finally I get to see Ed Hochuli do a game involving my Pack.
Please show me the post where I was not respectful.
Yeah, that’s what I thought.
I edited your disrespectful reply to Becky. The morning of November 20th, where you rudely accused her of deleting your post.
Calm down. You’ve been a welcome visitor to this website for the last couple of years. Nothing’s changed.
I also saw where I’ve posted stuff and then later see it’s not there, I’m not sure why. Nobody’s responded to me of late even though I’ve made important contributions or corrections, not unlike some people I actually know, unfortunately. I don’t know anyone on this site personally.
Looks like your last posts were a few weeks ago for Week 9, and before that, nothing since Week 4. What sort of response were you expecting for those Week 9 comments?
CREW CHEFFERS IS OFF THIS WEEK
Newark AM Sports Radio confirms that Mike Carey is Referee for New England and NY Jets.
Is Tim Podraza still the LJ?
yes
I’ve put it on the list preliminarily, but I’m a bit uncertain, seeing as how you’ve changed your name from Sammy to Craig Bosc.
Preth seeeeeeeeees everything… 😀
Preth, this is a reply to your asking what kind of response I was hoping for from my Week 9 comments(I can’t reply under that comment for some reason). I was just hoping that person (her name escapes me right now) would have thanked me for making that correction, that’s all. I’m always careful about what I write and how it might be perceived.
Ah, okay. I wouldn’t take it personally.
Clete Blakeman has SEA@MIA per him.
Who is eligible for OAK @ CIN?
if the report of Cheffers having off are true, this is the list of possibles:
Parry, Riveron, Leavy, Boger, McAulay and Corrente.
Triplette’s crew had one of these two teams with Vinovich a few weeks ago, eliminating them. Hochuli, Anderson, Blakeman all have known assignments; Carey, Green, Coleman, Triplette, Winter, Morelli, Steratore have all worked them within 6wk rule (or already worked @CIN) and Cheffers is reported to have off.
Leavy/Coleman/McAulay for HOU/DET on Thanksgiving
it will be Coleman
Green, McAulay, Morelli, and Triplette are eligible for ATL/TB.
Boger, Coleman, Corrente, Green, Leavy, McAulay, Riveron, and Triplette are eligible for HOU/DET.
Recent Thanksgiving Day Assignments:
2008 – Triplette, Parry, Riveron
2009 – Leavy, Cheffers, Corrente
2010 – Winter, Boger, Carey
2011 – McAulay, Morelli, Parry
Anderson, Blakeman, Coleman, Green, Hochuli, Steratore, and Vinovich have not had T-DAY assignments in the last 4 years.
Since 2000, Ron Winter has officiated the most Thanksgiving Day games with a total of 4, followed by Pete Morelli with 3. Amongst the current group, only Blakeman, Coleman, Hochuli, and Steratore have not had Thanksgiving Day assignments since 2000.
2000 – Winter, Corrente
2001 – White, Triplette
2002 – Nemmers, McAulay
2003 – Morelli, Winter
2004 – Leavy, White
2005 – Morelli, Austin
2006 – Anderson, Winter, Vinovich
2007 – Carollo, Carey, Green
Washington at Dallas- Not AR, WA, BL, TC, MC, EH, RW, PM, SG (crew), CC, JP, WC, TM
If I had to take a guess on a crew for the Redskins at Cowboys it would be Gene Steratore or Jerome Boger
Coleman’s crew in Detroit for Thanksgiving Day!!!
Thanks, BP.
Boger, Corrente, McAulay, Morelli, Parry, Riveron, Steratore, Triplette, and Vinovich eligible for GB/NYG.
Here’s Todd Archer’s weekly post, Leavy in Dallas…
http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/cowboys/p….wn-bill-leavy-2
This is Bill Leavy’s second game reffing the Redskins – he worked the ATL-WAS game in Week 5.
Hi Preth:
I’m confirming that the Crew off this week is Carl Cheffers´ Crew (just one this week).
Thanks, Joe.
Steratore in San Diego
Brad Biggs’ Twitter says Scott Green for Bears/Vikings.
He also officiated those same two teams in Minnesota back in 2006.
No official confirmation on the jets game yet?
Not yet, no. There’s a very high probability of confirmation tomorrow.
Mike Carey has NE @ NYJ. Confirmed.
source?
Terry McAulay could do DEN@KC…he hasn’t officiated a game involving either of those teams yet.
Carl Cheffers could do STL@AZ…he hasn’t officiated a game involving either of those two teams yet.
I’m sorry, he’s off this week…my apologies.
Alberto Riveron could do STL@AZ…he hasn’t officiated a game involving either of those two teams yet.

This will be Steratore’s fourth BAL game in the last two years. Strange, since I believe the Ravens have had Blakeman just once since he became a WH… random chance, these occurrences?
Often random chance, yes.
Joe, I believe the ravens had clete blakeman as the WH in 2 games last year. Week 2 at TEN and week 14 vs IND
Brian, You are correct.
Looks like Mr. Coleman’s crew missed a crucial down by contact play in the game, that could not be reviewed due to Coach Schwartz’s throwing of the red flag when it could not be thrown. Wonder if the league supervisors will grade them hard on that one or not.
On that particular play? No, not likely. Mike Pereira does a good job of breaking it down here:
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Detroit-Lions-controversial-call-Houston-Texans-Jim-Schwartz-Justin-Forsett-bizarre-ruling-112212
The call was definitely missed, and that could potentially be graded downward. However, it’s the sort of play where the officials’ positions aren’t ideal, due to a new umpire positioning.
They wouldn’t be graded down for following the rule as it’s currently written, however.
Although the call was not correct, by rule as the coach throws the challenge it becomes unreviewable! Had Detroit coach not throw the flag it would have been reviewed.
I like what you guys tend to be up too. Such
clever work and coverage! Keep up the excellent works guys I’ve included you guys to our blogroll.
Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve visited this website before but after looking at a few of the articles I realized it’s new to me.
Nonetheless, I’m definitely happy I discovered it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking back regularly!
