The call in the Jacksonville vs Miami game tonight that ejected Cam Robinson was unconscionable! First of all, he had recovered the ball, clearly seen at the beginning of the scrum. OK, officials did not blow the whistle then, and Van Noy wrestled it away, Dolphins ball. But then two officials have hands all over Mr. Robinson, including groping him. At the bottom of a pile, he has every right to defend has private parts and thrust those hands away. The officials, who were partisan throughout the game, by the way, very much over-reacted, and certainly lost my respect. I recognize that these are games for the masses, a la ancient Rome, but if you don’t give some lea way for human reaction, you are going to lose the audience that pays you. Certainly, I turned off the game thereafter.
